Landon's Room and other infomration

Sorry it has been so long since my last post! Things have been very busy in the Williams' world. So I have a job! I will be working in the Admissions Office as their front desk woman. This is not quite what I expected but I know it will be a good change. The office is mostly younger people who I went to college with. So I know pretty much all of them. We are a little worried because I will be taking a pay cut now and because this position is union I will probably be taking another one when bargaining is finished. We know we will be ok though.... just have to cut some corners and maybe move to a cheaper apartment. So I start the new gig on August 19th. This is the bad part, my last conference ends on the 19th. So I don't even get one day off in between the two jobs or to rest from conferences, or to even prep things to finish my summer conference billing..... plus I am supposed to start training in the new office now...... this is going to be really fun.

30 Weeks

25 Weeks

23 Weeks

Well on to some news about the baby! I am now 31 weeks and things are looking good. He is moving and kicking and pushing (I think he may be trying to break out through my belly button). I get an ultrasound on August 28th at 36 weeks! It will be fun to see him again, and to learn how big he is. BUT everyone needs to remember that ultrasounds are not very accurate in the size department so no panicking if he is big.

We had a great Saturday last week. Grandma Carolyn bought us our crib and mattress for Landon! We were able to find some amazing deals. The two cribs we wanted from Burlington Coat Factory were about $300 (really not a terrible price) but they were both out of stock and would take 10-12 weeks to get in. That is just a little to long for us! Even though they did not have the crib we wanted the had the BEST bedding set! It is turtles! We had a coupon for 20% off the set (which was $170, ouch!). Sadly the bed set did not come with the lamp, rug or mobile and each of those pieces were an additional $50!

Then something amazing happened! We found a clearance table. They had last years turtle theme on clearance 30-50% off! They did not have the bedding but they had the lamp for $20 the mobile for $20 and the rug for $14! WHAT A DEAL!

So we decided to look at Target. They had a crib we liked on clearance for $110 but it was out of stock at that store. The closest store with it was Wilsonville and they had it clearance for $80! So we drove to Wilsonville and got the crib (score) but they did not have the mattress we wanted! So we drove back to the same Target we were just at and got our mattress!

After a long day of bargain hunting we came home and were up until midnight putting it all together! What do you think?

Also be expecting you shower invites! The party is on August 29 at 10am in Independence! I hope to see you all there!
